Jordan River Thursday with a stop at Shirley Delicious...

Leave from the Switch Bridge at 9am this Thursday, September 8. Stopping at Shirley Delicious either on the way out and (or just one stop on the way out or back) the way back for coffees and munchies. An easy enough pace. Taking Otter Pt. Road on the way back and possibly the Goose home after Sooke,...

Peter,
It's so good to hear you're the back home and healing! Although I totally understand the nursing staff will miss your wit and humour. Take care and keep those smiles coming :) .

Recovery from crash at Thursday TTT

Thank you everyone for your concern this morning after my wheel touching crash after the deer warning. Especially to Alan Cook who accompanied me on the ride back home. I'm heeding Alan's advice and will visit ER if there's any headache or nausea, but so far after a good breakfast and a bit of a res...

Re: Fairfield Starbucks

I haven't heard anyone suggest Cook St. Starbucks. Actually, it was Dvora at the Monday Holiday ride (Feb. 17) who suggested it as that's where she and other regulars from the Fairfield Starbucks have decided to relocate. Also, coming from the other side of the Johnson St. Bridge, Cook St. is a bit ...

Deer collision on Humpback

Today's Saturday Sufferfest was marred by a crash with a deer around 8am this morning. Rob Duncan went head over heels after T-boning a Bambi on Humpback Rd., as we were heading south towards Sooke Rd. (Hwy). Rob was leading, called out a deer, she crossed in front and we thought we were clear. Sudd...

No worries Matt, we'll go as strong as we can. Starbucks, Cook St it is. Maybe there will be some others that show-up or meet us on the way.

I'm interested in an another Saturday 6am ride tomorrow morning, Aug. 3rd. Is there anyone else?
