This was passed on to me from City Hall. If you have any issues with the detour, let me know and I'll go complain to my neighbour who should be looking after this stuff...(John Luton).
Galloping Goose Trail Closed at Harbour Road Between Tyee and Esquimalt Roads
The construction of new sidewalks and road work on Harbour Road between Tyee and Esquimalt Roads will require a section of the Galloping Goose Trail to be closed for six weeks, from Monday, July 6, 2009 to Friday, August 14, 2009.
Cyclists and pedestrians will be detoured to Tyee Road and the existing trail that runs along the E&N Railway.
Motorists are asked to exercise caution as there will be an increased number of cyclists in the area. Signs will be posted.
