Galloping Goose Trail Closed at Harbour Road Between Tyee and Esquimalt Roads
The construction of new sidewalks and road work on Harbour Road between Tyee and Esquimalt Roads will require a section of the Galloping Goose Trail to be closed for six weeks, from Monday, July 6, 2009 to Friday, August 14, 2009.
Cyclists and pedestrians will be detoured to Tyee Road and the existing trail that runs along the E&N Railway.
Motorists are asked to exercise caution as there will be an increased number of cyclists in the area. Signs will be posted.

thqt part of the road has been a mess for months now worse before it gets better? will they only be doing sidwalks or will the surface actually be redone?
why so long for the most used part of the goos lochside system to be disfunctional
