Is anyone interested in another "relaxed social ride through the neighbourhood ending for coffee and treats at Shoal Point" tomorrow? I need to test my tire setup for the CrossFondo and I don't want to get injured or lost, both of which seem to be the themes of this week.
I'm pretty sure Rolling Rolf will be absent tomorrow. I'm not sure about Johnny Tyre. However, I know a lot of the neighbourhood trails and can refresh my memory from Strava tonight.
I'm in. Between Ann and I I'm sure we'll get to where we need to go.
If Alan comes out he can tell us a "very nice story about a Dork he knows from Saskatchewan who was out cross riding on Tuesday and was taken down by a big piece of Bull Kelp". Swear to God, it jumped about 200 meters from the shoreline to right in front of my wheel - 10 feet long, 6 inches in diameter, fangs gnashing. We'll avoid that area, K?
I too am in, and spent just a little time looking for the right gif.
It's hard enough keeping up to Rolf and John on the bike, also competing with them and the Uber-Giffer Greg?
I am quite new to Victoria and to cyclocrosses. I maybe come to Oak Bay School tomorrow morning.
Sorry, SteelBuns. But you sound super foreign and weird. I like that and find it interesting. But we only ride with people wot speak English good. (At least, that’s what Johnny Tyre told me.)
