Seven intrepid crossers joined Nick and me this morning to make us Los Nueve Amigos.

Thanks to a low tide, we were able to ride nearly the entire length of Cadboro Bay Beach for the first time.



Our beach exit was a legit bike-carry up a loooong flight of stairs...

For someone to start holding pre-dawn cross races that start from my house and feature getting enjoyably lost with friends while exploring new off-road terrain and taking regular breaks to take in the view, tell jokes etc.
