I’m sure the final poll results will be oh-so-easy to tabulate and conclusive.

Either the long weekend or the 26/27 is my request. I'd suggest going over the Malahat, down to Shawnigan and then back by way of the Brentwood ferry with a stop at a suitable refreshment station along the way.

After some work in the background, Saturday May 19 seems our best bet for a GT adventure.

I propose a reenactment of the Pro City "ass ride" from last month, including lunch at Pizzeria Prima Strada in Cobble Hill. Who knows, maybe Martin and the club will pitch in for beer if we promise to limit our GIFs to cuddling kittens. At this point we have half-a-dozen riders; certainly enough to get started, but with attrition not enough to pull my non-butt home. Lets find more riders.

To get us in the mood, here's a snap of one of our beloved TS members on the "ass ride" being passed by one of our knobbly juniors on the Kinsol Trestle.

Let's roll early, shall we folks? Maybe meet for coffee 6:00am at Alpha Street Starbucks before the big adventure. Roll at 6:30, ok?
Coffee will make us all a lot happier.

Well OK, but once we get going you'll be doing your share of the pulling, right?

I need some advice regarding what tires I need to use for this ride. Will these 700 x 38mm tires be okay? Thanks. No GIF, yikes  http://ridinggravel.com/gravel-news/cha ... 8mm-tires/

Hi Steven,

I’m no student of tires but I can say that I rode the lower Great Trail last Sunday on a pair of Schwalbe X-One 700 x 33C (tubeless) tires and everything went swimmingly.
