New York Times discovers Victoria

Post by Alan »

Not a bad place to live. At least according to the New York Times, known as "the newspaper of record."

Too bad they didn't feature some of the lesser-known marvels of our fair city, such as the cyclocross ride known as "Rolf's Newspaper Route" that sneaks you through the rabbit warrens and trails winding through the dank underbelly of Oak Bay.

Thanks for the post Alan!

Sometimes it takes an outsider to point out the treasures sitting right under our noses, as for example this architectural gem featured in the New York Times article.

It's official, Victoria Is almost as Hip as Portland!
Yes, Portland of the north, they say.
Yeah right. Portland without the bicycles, the cool beer, or the Hipness.

This time, it's the Wall Street Journal waxing poetic about Victoria.
