Warning- New Mt Doug Park Curbs on edge bike lane

There are two new curbs in Mt. Doug Park (Cordova Bay Rd) at the crosswalks on the painted bike lane. They are black asphalt with traffic cones. Watch out for them on the Friday ride.

I believe the purpose of the curbs is give inattentive drivers two rather that one bumps if they run over a pedestrian and/ or send unsuspecting cyclists tumbling into traffic or the trees.

I saw them tonight. Didn't think they were too bad (they seemed fairly smooth and are inline with the white lines). There were some cones that were also on the white line. Since we're usually single-file along this road, recommend sticking far right at the first cross walk then take the lane before the 2nd cross walk.
