Sunday LSD
Maybe. Depends on the temp, dew pt and humidity!
Leaving Starbucks Fairfield at 7 AM.
If the roads look like they may be clear: https://www.strava.com/routes/3704316
If things look better up the Peninsula: https://www.strava.com/routes/3654772
Not sure what difference it will make but we'll decide in the AM. I'll post at 6:15 AM if I am going to make it.

Re: Sunday LSD
Would any of you be interested in a 9 am ride on this Sunday, I know it's late and all but the roads are pretty defrosted by then!

Sleep in? On a Sunday? Really?!?! Ok. Sounds like a great idea.
Change of plans. Leave Fairfield Starbucks, 9 AM, Regular Sunday route. Done before noon.

Re: Sunday LSD
Does "regular Sunday route" mean the usual 7:30 Sunday ride route? Or a Barton Special? I'm thinking 9 is a sensible time to ride tomorrow. Sunny roads only!

Re: Sunday LSD
Due to the frosty roads, 9 am looks like a good option for Jim and I. See you tomorrow

I won't be out this morning. How very sad!! Gotta tell you, I am really looking forward to the return of the rain!!

Re: Sunday LSD
I rode to work Saturday at 8:30, and it sucked! I was hoping to ride the first hour or so this morning, but instead going to beg my spouse to drive me to work, then run home. Too much white-knuckle frost-induced anxiety. I agree, let it rain.
Re: Sunday LSD
The 9am 7:30 Sunday route ride was a roaring success. Eight showed up, questioning our sanity, but fear was soon replaced with joy. Roads got quite dry (but not dry enough for summer bikes, ahem...), the sun shone, and Jim conveniently flatted near the end to get out of buying coffee.
