Just a further breakdown of the vote 91 - 74. Commission members votes in Ireland count double. McQuaid received the backing of 32 commission members (64 votes) + 10. One long time commission member grumbled that he knew all the people supporting McQuaid but hardly anyone opposing him. He later alluded to that the new members maybe aren't so happy with the old guard.
