Caleb Pike April 28th

Post by jeremy »

So I'm looking for some people to ride with me in the B race, If you haven't been up to Caleb Pike yet, this is a pretty mellow course, only one hill to worry about. And if your worried about coming out to race for the first time and coming last, don't worry I'm sure I'll be doing that again. The way I see it is the only way to get better at racing, is to..............race.

Me too,

I've got a crazy work and kid schedule but time pending, I'll be out. Hats off to you Jeremy for taking the initiative on getting B riders out. We have a definite gap in our roster.

Quentin, it might be better for us if it's raining, less people will show up and we can all place better :D

What time does this race usually finish up by? I have another commitment that evening but I'm thinking if the race ends early enough I could do both.

The race usually starts at 6:30, and goes about an hour, you could make it back into town by 8ish

I'm telling you shawn, go to the race FOR your date.
It's perfect. What could possibly be more romantic than that? plus you get the relationship off on the right foot from the get go.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Sorry Josh, but racing tomorrow night would definitely put me in the dog house. It's hardly a first date - we're getting married in June :)

We've had tomorrow night planned for a month now so I have to give the race a miss this time.

Next week!

Josh is right.

You have to establish your pattern of behavior early in the relationship. That way it`s accepted as normal and not subject to debate :)

For those riding out, switch bridge at 5:15?

That's right! Listen to experience: Be a man and lay down the law. Otherwise, your hobbies will be given the 5:30 am time slot and one day you'll find yourself wearing baby blue shorts and a pink helmet. :(

Kidding of course Shawn - there are loads of races (you'll be taking points from the rest of us soon enough).

I'll be riding out at as well. If I'm late getting the bridge, just leave without me and I'll pick you guys up on the Goose along the way.

Tonight should be a good one!

I'm riding out too so will be at the switch bridge for 5:15pm.

Remember licence, $$, number, and lights (if riding home)!
