‘Tis the Season Tripleshoter’s, so save the date, Wednesday November 30th, for the Official start of this Year’s Holiday Tree set up. It will be at the same location as last year, just off of the Intersection of Roy Rd and the Colquitz Trail. The 6am Wednesday Gravel Ride at Switch Bridge will be the Official Start point with a moderate Route that is not too technical and should have the group(s) at the Tree by 7am-710am. This spot is easily accessible to all ride disciplines, road, gravel, mtb, or Mary Poppins bike, so if you have a ride planned that morning, such as from Oak Bay or your Garage, consider stopping by close to 7am and join in the joy and merriment. So dust off those ornaments and decorations and show off our Club Spirit. Happy Holidays

Just a gentle reminder that this Year’s Holiday Tree Kick Off is this Wednesday November 30th. There will be a 6am CX Ride/Route from Switch Bridge to the Roy Rd/Colquitz Trail Location arriving at approximately 7-7:10am so feel free to meet there if you prefer a different start Location and Route option. This is just the ‘Official’ Start of this Year’s Tree and by no means your only opportunity to participate. All are welcome and encouraged to stop by at Any Time of your choosing and as you wish until December 25th.
And for us newer TS Members, I would like to acknowledge and thank those Club Members that started this Tradition, and reflect that the Tree was used as a means to connect when gathering in person was not encouraged or permitted.
Just a few things to remember:
-please use decorations and lights that respect the environment and are not of sentimental value as they may disappear or degrade in the elements
-if you are decorating with lights please maintain the batteries
-there is no obligation to decorate and just admiring with ohhs and ahhs is perfectly acceptable
-please take copious amounts of photos and share the merriment
-enjoy the Road and Gravel friendly Location
-beware of doggy bombs
-please respect our neighbours while at the Tree
-please collect any decorations you have contributed anytime after December 25th and preferably before the end of December.Anything left at that point will be collected and held for ransom
