The BC Randonneurs are bringing back the Cowichan Populaire open bike ride on Saturday June 18, 2022. There are 50KM, 100KM and 161KM route options through a beautiful part of the south island beginning and ending at the Cobblestone Pub in Cobble Hill. According to the website there will be "control stations" throughout the ride with refreshments, water and volunteers. No membership in BC Randonneurs is necessary and entry is a very reasonable $25. Registration closes midnight June 15.

I'm riding the 161KM route with a few friends and if we feel especially silly we might even bike to the start. Maybe we will see some of you there and shoot me a message if you are also feeling silly and have any interest in riding to the start line from Victoria...
