There is a gravel loop planned for June 5th that will get us deep into the backcountry between Sooke and Shawnigan Lake. Lots of climbing (3300m) over a 153-ish km route that will feature smooth to very rough gravel and technical singletrack just for giggles. We will also have to ford the Sooke River at some point. Minor bushwhacking will also be required. Sound interesting? Spond sign-up for the G-Loop goes live this Friday @ 10am. This is for experienced and adventurous riders with sturdy bike, tires and character [Ed.].
