Tripleshot Velodrome "Learn to Ride" Day - Sat. May 8th
Posted: Sat May 01, 2021 8:30 pm
Hi all,
Tripleshot has an opportunity to book a last-minute "learn to ride" session on Saturday, May 8th at the Velodrome.
The velodrome, located at the Juan de Fuca Rec Complex, is operating under COVID-safe protocols. No bunch riding, spacing between riders, etc etc and can offer a 2-hour session for TSC members next Saturday from 9-11am. The $10 fee will include 2 hours of coaching from Alex Hui and a track bike. This is a subsidized rate - our Club will pick up the balance You just need to show up with your helmet, pedals and $10 cash.
We can accommodate 9 riders in the session - first come first served. If there is interest, we can add a second session on the same day from noon - 2pm.
Those of you who've attended TSC track days in the past can vouch for how safe and fun it is so sign up and maybe encourage a clubmate who's curious to join you? All TSC members are welcome, even if you've ridden a track bike or attended a "learn to ride" session or open house before.
Martin has created a post on Spond where you can add your name. Please sign up on Spond in the next couple of days because we need to make a quick decision in order to get this off the ground.
If you have questions, I'm happy to try to answer them. Post your queries below.
