Gosh, when you see it in the same platform as your own feeble activities, you realize what an absolutely stunning human achievement racing at that level can be.
This would be the same M. Van der Poel who's been CX World Champ three times, and whom you stumbled across on a training ride last July, letting you tag along for 45K?
You're living a bit of a dream over there, Steve...

Rolf, fortunately for me MvdP was on semi-social recovery ride the day of my encounter with him. Right now, I'd rather be living the dream back on Magic Island, surrounded by incredible scenery and nature.
