Tripleshot 2010 Gear Order #1

Tripleshot 2010 Gear Order #1 is now in progress: http://tripleshotcycling.servebbs.com/gearorder

The order system is now tied to your forum username. If you are logged into the forum, then you'll be able to access the order system.

I'll leave the orders open for about two weeks. I'll update the USD/CAD conversion rate closer to the date when I submit the order.

If you ordered something last time but didn't get it (knee warmers, socks, etc) that amount will be credited to your account. If you don't plan on ordering this time, ask me for a refund.

If you use the order system, but don't plan to order, please make sure you delete everything from your order.

Any questions, just ask.

Hey Roland,

The link to order gear just kicks me back to the index page.... Am I missing something?

Anybody got any suggestions on what type of jacket to order? They have a few different options and am wondering what everybody else has found best.

Steve

Odd, if you are logged in to the forum, it shouldn't do that. Let me look into it some more, I just coded it up this morning. Is anybody else having trouble logging in?

I had that same problem, but then the problem stopped. I thought you must have fixed it.

Hi Roland

Thank you for doing this. Quick questions will this be the new gear with the new sponsors?

I wrangled another contribution from my wife's law firm (Berge, Hart and Cassels) so you can put her firm back on the Jersey. It's not like they're getting any work out of this, but if it keeps me happy....they'll pay.

Roland,
Thanks for organizing this again. Working fine now.
As usual I can find something to order which I don't yet have.
Nice going on the skin suit order.

As for those wondering what to get I would say that my 4 most used and essential items are bib shorts, a club cut ss jersey, a wind vest, and a winter jacket.
Everyone needs more baby blues,
Cheers,
Eric

Hey Galen

Are you making any other design changes aside from sponsor logos?

ie, do I need to order new stuff, or will I continue to look current, stylish and trendy in my winter 2010 order gear?

Josh

Katie, you said you weren't very happy with the women's gear. Could you please let me (and others) know, what was wrong with the women's stuff so that I can make up my mind about what to order?

The women's jersey's are *really* short, and barely come to the top of the shorts. If you order a larger size, you just get a wider jersey, not a longer one. Roland's men's jerseys fit better in length, but funny through the chest.

If you want to try on my jerseys for size, let me know and we can arrange it.

Thanks Katie, for the update.

I've got a question for Roland now. I guess the vests will all be men's size, right? I just wanted to check to make sure I choose the right size.

thanks,
Rita

Is it too late to order some gear?

No, I'm on holiday. I'll be closing the order when I get back.

Looking at the orders for knee warmers, there are 5 for fleece and 3 for lycra -- the minimum order is 10 for both.

http://tripleshotcycling.servebbs.com/g ... nimums.php

If we could convince everyone to go for one or the other, we'd make the minimum. I'd switch to fleece-lined if the choice was that or no knee warmers at all.

Same thing could be done for arm and leg warmers.

Roland: in the past they dropped their minimums for us. Any chance of a repeat?

I could probably get them to do 8 or 9. But not 5.

Okay. Looks like we're up to 7 fleece. I just PM'd Rita and Hugh who are the other two seeking lycra knee-warmers. If they switch we might be good to go.

Are you back from the desert, Roland? I assume the order will close shortly...

Thanks again for doing the work behind this.

I just added one, so we could hit the full 10.
