Tripleshot Cycling

Looking for a bike for my 13 year old son who is 5’ 9” and has grown at least a cm in the past 3 weeks. He is not into cycling and when asked what kind of bike he wants he shrugs and says ‘whatever’.

So I am looking for a whatever bike that would do for a 13 year old on the cusps of puberty who is 5’9” right now and likely to grow an inch or two in the next year. The bike will be for getting around town, so nothing fancy and inexpensive please.
