I'd like to experiment riding with a front suspension fork on my gravel bike. Does anyone have an older MTB fork lying around that might be suitable for this frankenbike project? Ideally short travel and can accomodate a 29" wheel (27.5" might be okay). 1-1/8 to 1.5 Inch Tapered.
I'm having problems silencing a horrendously noisey front brake and this might help pinpoint the problem too. Thanks!

Wait for the Lefty Oliver Carbon

You also need to think about the axle size- most MTB forks are 15mm x 110mm thru axle, most gravel bikes are 12mm x 100mm.

Egad! I don't know if I want to sully my bike with that.
But yes, there are a number of issues to get a suspension fork that fits. My wheels are set up 12mm thru axle but can be converted to 15mm. Hopefully an older fork is compatible with 100mm...
