Erin Attwell just dropped off her old time trial frame to become a youth team loaner. Erin won gold at Canada Games on this bike.
Erin is a member of the national team, and bronze medallist at the last World Cup at Milton before the covid shutdown.
This frame makes 4 loaner bikes the team has for u19 riders (the youngest age they’re allowed to use them in competition). These include one donated by Doug Merrick, former president of Comox Valley Cycling Club, and two donated by Roy Quade, a former national team member from Alberta, now living in Victoria.
Tt bikes can be quite decisive in selection events for junior worlds like national road championships, which are reported to be re-scheduled for late August. But expensive for growing kids to have their own. (For eg, Erin and her dad had to make a seat post extender for this one to fit.)
I’ll add a request for parts to the classified forum, but I’m looking for contributions to the bike to make it complete for a deserving rider. (Tt bars, aero wheels, shifters, brake levers, rear derailleur).
