Subject: CYCLISTS - Public Access to Dominion Astrophysical Observatory Suspended Temporarily
Dear cycling enthusiasts,
The health and safety of Canadians, visitors and NRC employees is our top priority. We encourage you to support the national effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 and stay home.
We are following the advice of public health experts and taking steps to support the Government of Canada’s efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 and reduce risks to visitors, employees, and other users of the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory.
Accordingly, ***NRC is temporarily suspending all public access to the Observatory site until further notice.*** This includes vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian access.
We recognize and regret the inconvenience this step causes and we look forward to welcoming the public back to the site when it is safe to do so.
