7:30, Cook St. Starbucks (I think). We are thinking we'll do the Langford Lake/Glen Lake/Royal Roads loop, maybe detour into the Irwin Ponds area to have a look at the new "cyclecross" park. Breakfast at Paul's or somewhere mutually agreeable after. Who's in?

Sounds like a fun ride. I'm a maybe as I need to keep my rides short for the moment. You may have to wait on the Irwin Ponds Cyclocross Trail. Last I heard, "The park is expected to open in the Fall of 2020." Sigh. At least it is in 2020! Here's a good writeup of what to expect:

25 months ago today,
Dvora saw us off from Fairbucks on a romp to Royal Roads (for those who were recently wondering who our unofficial poet laureate was.)
But you have to go back to
the GoPro somersault of 2017 to enjoy one of our first Wonger-wanders through RRU and the awesome Ed Nixon Trail...
Amen!

Definitely in. Will this route involve a SB pick up or do I have to haul myself down to Cook St? (which I will do with a smile on my face to ride such a great route with great peeps).
I have a date with a gymnastics awards ceremony downtown about 1115. Methinks this will work with the timeline of this route?

Hey L3 - estimate SB about 7:50-8:00. Whether we start with Thetis or RR we will be coming your way. I’m thinking three hours will do it so you should be okay for gymnastics.

PSA, specific to these last few posts:
SB =
Switch Bridge
SB ≠ Starbucks

How about:
CSSB = Cook St Starbucks
SB = Switch Bridge
Or the first one could just be CSB...

I'm aiming to be home at 10:00am so I'll just head out on my own at 7 and do an Obs Hill Training route. Have fun!

I might make it down to Cookbooks, depending on weather and sleep. If not, see y'all at the SB at 750.

Sorry I’m out oyster hunting this weekend.
If Johnny Tyre starts telling stories about my Royal Roadent days they’re mostly not true. Except the ones that are...

Sorry to be missing this one—such a fun route. But my wife and I are at OBBH on a 24hr kid-free pass and I’d be forfeiting the marriage if I snuck away now.
Still, it’s tempting...

Another perfect, sunny morning of worship. Thanks again, #38. (It was almost worth leaving your marriage for, Ben!)

And thanks to you Geoff for putting together a stellar route. However it was decidedly lacking in off-colour jokes.
