TS Youth Team coach recruitment

Post by joannafox »

Hi all - the team is growing and we are recruiting additional coaches to our stellar 7-member coaching team. Here's our recruitment overview and the Assistant Coach job description. If you know of anyone who may fit the bill, please forward it to them. Thanks!

The Tripleshot Cycling Youth Team is adding to its coaching team!

If you are keen to join a cycling coaching team that instills a sense of fun and learning to a dynamic group of youth cyclists on weekdays and/or weekends, the Tripleshot Youth Team is interested in hearing from you.

Tripleshot Cycling Club’s youth program is a progressive, inclusive, athlete-development program aimed at turning kids on to cycling, at a level suited to them. As a Tripleshot Coach, you will help the Head Coach to plan and execute a year-round program with ability-appropriate training and races. You like kids, are creative in designing fun and productive workouts that include an appropriate use of competition, and are committed to a strongly ethical and team-based cycling program.

The team, which started in 2010, has riders ranging from 10-18 years old and most participate in four disciplines: road, track, mountain and cross. Alumni of the team include 2020 Olympic hopefuls Jay Lamoureux and Adam de Vos, 2015 Pan Am Gold Medallist Evan Carey, National team and 2020 World Cup medallist track rider Erin Attwell, Junior National team riders Sarah Van Dam, Riley Pickrell and Red Truck Racing P/B Mosaic Homes riders Brenna Pauly and Chris McLeod.

We currently have assistant coaches with national team and pro cycling experience working with Head Coach Lister Farrar. We are looking to increase our coaching team to help with our growing number of youth riders. Most training sessions feature three ability groups (A, B, C) which requires three coaches per session.
