I plan on leaving Starbucks as 7:30 for a 2-2.5 hr moderate level cross ride, getting lost behinds Thetis somewhere, embracing mud and exploration. Will figure out the route at 7:28 am..

I was just working on something that fits this bill to a T, Dolly. I'll map it out and see if it rocks your grok.
At the least I can murder a few more idioms along the way...

Andrew; "Sane" is not an adjective that applies to CX
...ever.

Here's an idea, Dolly:
Colquitz - Elk Lake - Prospect - Thetis - E&N.
Not too much vert, not too much gnar; just 51K of tasty, known trails, connected by fun bits of pavement, ending up at Boom & Batten for some avocado toast, breakfast pizza, and awesome coffee...

I’m into it. Today’s R&R turned into a 10k run to escape my children so I could use the reduced gnarl factor on this one.
See you folks at 7:30
