Jan 1, 2020 "Mini triple crown"

Alex Hui is organising the following ride for Jan 1st:
The biannual event is making a comeback this year! What started years ago as a team bonding / what-else-are-you-gonna-do event has somehow become a tradition (for me anyway). The route is about 52-55km, chill pace until the start of each of the 3 hills then it's go-as-hard-as-you-want. We'll regroup at the top before setting off to the next hill. Road bikes are recommended, rear fender as well (long term forecast is showing showers). Dress warm or bring a warm shell especially for the skinny quick climbers since you'll be the ones who have to do most of the waiting. Come join the fun, share the event, spread the word, see you on new years day!
Time and location: 1030am at switch bridge
Route: Interurban ➡ West Saanich ➡ OBSERVATORY ➡ Spartan / Brookleigh / Cordova Bay ➡ MT DOUG ➡ Shelbourne / Feltham / Gordon Head ➡ MT TOLMIE.
Extra extra: we'll run it aussie pursuit / handicapped style, self-seeding into 3 groups at the bottom with the quickest group going last!
