30th December - Bikes n' brunch ride

Hi all

Some of the guys used to do a day after boxing day ride where we would start later and end at the Fernwood for brunch and a post ride beer or 2.
Since some can't make that date, we are planning to do this ride on the 30th.
Now, I know this is a Tuesday, but for the folk who are doing the festive 500, this would be a great opportunity to get some additional kms in after the normal TS ride.
We will meet at Little June coffee on Fernwood Road at 09:00 and ride for a couple hours and return to the Fernwood In for brunch (and beer).
All welcome

Hey Foz...and others.

Dec 30 is a Monday... 31st is Tuesday.

So Boys and Girls BEER and Bike is not a normal ride day.

How about scheduling a 6am cx and road ride that Monday morning??

Are you up for The December 30 Double???

It is almost the last day to get in miles for your FESTIVE500.

Sounds fun and we are keen to join. But it seems we need clarification -- will this take place on Monday the 30th or Tuesday the 31st?

I asked these questions this morning and Fozzy seems pretty chill and non-specific as to the 'plan'. I think it's just a casual "two-hour ride with friends" and the where, who and how will develop organically. At least that was the sense I got. Imma just go with the flow and so, like, whatever...friends and bikes and brunch sounds pretty swell to me.

I'm in.

If I know the mileage in advance, I might plan my next couple days so that I finish on this ride. And then I might--in my giddy euphoria--buy a round. Just sayin'.
