CrossFondo this Sunday- registration closes Thursday 11:59

See a side of the Saanich peninsula you've never seen before.
Sunday the fourth annual Tripleshot Crossfondo will launch you into the unknown at 9:00. Come join us for 45 km (or 25km option) of vineyards, hay fields, single track (newly built this fall), gravel and a little pavement to connect it all up.
Appreciative spectators: minature horses, sheep, goats. The second aid station is next to Heidi the horses stable, and the third by Ali and Grayson's (miniature donkeys) paddock. They're excellent therapy animals if you're in need. (Looking at you Alan and John. :p)
Start with coffee, pastries and fruit. I know, backwards from the usual TS tradition, but you'll need the energy for the 2-4 hour effort. The Youth Team will take your apres-wear bag, serve you breakfast snacks, then marshal you around an epic loop where you'll seldom recognize where you are; because 40 private landowners are opening their property to us for just one day.
When you finish in front of your adoring family and friends, the youth team will take your bike, wash it, valet park it, hand you your bag to change for dinner, then serve your salmon (or chicken) lunch on white linen with fresh flowers. And take away your dishes. With beer, cider, and kambucha. (And in heated tents if you happened to fall in at the water crossing.)
Proceeds support the TS youth program, South Island Mountain Bike Society, and The Nature Trail Society (Safe routes to school project in Central Saanich).
Register here by Thursday at 11:59. https://tripleshotcrossfondo.ca/
Ali and Grayson await you at the third aid station. Bring carrots.
