We found a very cute species of mushroom while toodling around Hatley Park on Sunday. This little one was so well-formed I picked it as a gift for Rolf. Anyone out there can identify the species and tell me if it is edible? Mikael? Norm?
I only ask because I am feeling Rolf was mighty interested in chowing down on his gift.

I’m pretty sure it’s Phallus erectus var. diminutae

Alan, last Sunday was great of day of discover, indeed. Any chance of preserving that shroom for Rolf's 45'th?
