Tripleshot Cycling

Just prior to last weekend's Observatory hill-climb, the NRC facilities manager mentioned to me that he was very concerned about cyclists that have been observed opening the gate and causing it to remain open while doing repeats. This is stunningly inappropriate!! That gate is to be opened only by NRC staff, and once they have gone through, the gate must be allowed to close. Unless we want to have the facilities closed to non-staff, made unavailable for training, "we" had better be more respectful.

There is no reason, ever, to cause the gate to open or remain open, unless you work there and are driving through! Go around.
