Tuesday ride and road work

The intersection of Henderson and Cedat hill X-R is torn up with paving and road work. A flag person was on Duty at 4.45 Monday so a detour (? Switch to ring road) may be needed on July 8 morning.

This morning's ride finished just in the nick of time*. Within an hour (or so), the intersection was fully closed with torn up pavement in "our" corner of the intersection. Hopefully someone can post an update before next Tuesday as to the state of things. Hopefully by then, we'll have delicious new blacktop on which to corner - and, if we're really lucky, that nasty little bump that the left-line folks usually roll over will be history, too!

*The A2s almost got finished off two laps early. Thanks to our lead-out man Issac's deft handling skills, though, neither he nor the crowd trailing him hit anything (or anyone) when we were suddenly staring way too closely at the back of a stopped paving truck in the apex of the turn.

It's all paved on that corner now! Nice fresh smooth blacktop....Looking forward to that corner now!
