Hurricane ridge Canada day
Is anyone making the trek over to Hurricane ridge for the usual Canada day ride (Not the official Tripleshot Hurricane ridge ride which happens in August I think).

I will go if it is not raining. If l do go there is a possibility that my wife will drive up so folks could stash gear to be taken to the top. I will confirm my plans and post here on Saturday evening.

I'm interested as well.
If it's on, what's the plan? Meeting time, estimated return time etc.
Haven't done this ride before, but looks great.
Please let me know.

Hi Alex,
Most people get to the terminal at 5:40am to walk onto the 6:10 ferry with their bicycle. There is usually a large group, and we all head up to the toll booth/park entrance and regroup there. The return ferry is at 12:45pm which leaves enough time to go up and down and have lunch in Port Angeles before heading back to Victoria. The park entrance fee is $15US (just checked online). A few tips: bring extra layers for the descent, have travel health insurance, go at your own pace, and enjoy the ride!

My son and I (and maybe my wife) will be there- weather permitting...

If the forecast is (mostly) dry, I’m planning on heading over.

I am still undecided. The weather could go either way...
