So there are a few teams that will be there. I think we can get them to bring us bottles, dont you?

Giro Di Sardegna – Tour of Sardinia 2010

Team Radioshack is scheduled to race in The Giro di Sardegna (Tour of Sardinia) which is a 7-stage race run from Saturday 17 to Saturday 24 April 2010

pfffft....radioshack?

They're just a startup, I mean, they barely managed to get a UCI protour license this year. I heard they don't have any real grand tour contenders on their team anyway.

Good points Josh. And look at us. We have a few years under our belts (plus a bit of stuff hanging over our belts) and the caliber of the TS riders is such that we only need to bring 3 riders while these new teams have to try to pack as many as 9 guys into the rrace. Well we can show them a thing or two! When they see Dave "the Demon" Spiers and Al "Animal" Cassels coming at them they are sure to get out of the way.

And lets be honest, how intimidating for all of those Italian men to have the three of us show up in baby blue & pink argyle! We will not only show them a thing or two on the bikes but teach them a little fashion while we are at it!

Yes, Italians can't stand pink cycling clothes.

Like in the giro d'italia, for example.........who would want to be caught dead in pink?

Funny, funny, funny. I read this post and thought Josh was serious - that is, that Radio Shack was some small team trying to move onto the world scene by doing the race that 'we're' doing. Killing time this morning I decide to click the link Peter provided. Oh, that's Lance's team. Who knew? In my defense, they change there names faster than Mike buys bikes. What was wrong with US Postal Service? Seemed like a strange sponsor, but at least I could remember it.

No kidding. For a few seconds I was thinking that if we could only get a few more guys to go, we could try to race against this Radio Shack gang of wannabes.

P.S. Lister, Josh. Thanks for the hill climbing tips. As we negotiated Tolmie in the dark yesterday morning we were all wondering what the guys still in their warm beds were thinking :D

Guys, you're so hilarious, you make me  First the photo of the pink everything by Josh (hope I won't have nightmares now) and then John who wants to kick Lance's butt. I'd love to see that!

I just had a terrible thought: Not having access to the team roster yet (at least that I can find), I am not sure whether Team Garmin will be there. *gasp*

Of course there subtle differences between our kits (ours makes their rags look sad!) but it could be akin to two divas showing up at the Oscars in the same Vera Wang outfit! Fight!
