Proof that a break could still make it. Battlin Bill E and I stayed away from KG to Terry Fox where we got rolled up by Bob, Chris F and Josh. Then we all looked at each other until Josh took off like a scared cat. Bob powered away for a 5 bike length win followed by yours truly and then Chris F. Not sure how Bill/Josh finished but it was a solid effort by the break and by the chase.

Gavin the albino moose was right there too, but broke a spoke and dropped out near the top of beacon hill. He let out an enraged wail, warning any other male moose to stay away, and started thrashing around in anger, and charging at joggers.
After a short low speed tactical session after the chase pair got caught, Josh the scared cat took off harder and sooner than he should have, thinking the finish was closer than it actually was.
He was completely cooked by 200 yards out, and got passed back by Bob "no draft" Cameron, then by the other 3 in the lead group. Still, he was happy to be out playing in the tripleshot morning race series again, after a month and a half away.
Look out VCL for tripleshot this spring.
