Sunday A Bit Earlier, A Bit Slower

A few of us have been doing a bit of a bandit ride on Sundays. Meeting at Starbucks at Uptown and heading at out at 7 AM for 70, 80 K at a 25 Km/hr pace. The plan is to slowly increase the distance as the weeks go by. Rebuilding a base, and, just riding!
This is not a "Barton" ride! This is just a ride. If someone wants to stop, we do. If someone wants to change the route, we do. Next week someone else will pick a route, maybe 80 K or so. The only focus is to ride, buildup some mileage, enjoy each others company and the day on our bikes!
One reason for posting a route is to make it easy for others to meet along way.

Great ride this morning. Mikael, Maureen and I. We bypassed Prospect just cause but did ride Lindholm for the first time in months. Good and tired by the end of 80K.
Next week, 85 or so is the plan. I'll post the route later.

A bit longer than last Sunday but about the same elevation gain.

Sorry I could not make it. Spouse out of town,and soccer games, and sleepovers got in the way. Next weekend for sure!

It was very lonely at Starbucks this morning! I'm guessing the wind put everyone off. Off to the lakes for a run instead!

It looks like we are going to Vancouver Sunday, so very, very sadly I'll miss the Winter Solstice ride on MONDAY. Just wanted to point out to you that Christmas Eve is NOT Sunday. I've shown up for many, many events on the wrong day, and would not want you missing this ride!

I get it now; the Solstice Ride is Monday the 24th!
So, in preparation for that fun and silly ride, my plan is a shorter and simpler Sunday ride than what we have been doing.
