Sunday, November 4 - Choose Your Own Adventure

Let's meet the usual crew for coffee at Fairfield Starbucks, leaving at 7:30 after talking routes (probably something tried and true: RRU, Langford Lake, Thetis, Colquitz, Elk, etc.)
With sunrise rolled back to 7:03, it should be bright and beautiful. And the wind that may plague the roadies won't touch us under the trees.
Aim for coffee and second breakfast by 10:30-ish.

Darn. I’ve been wanting to do that route for a while but am heading to Nanaimo for COTR tomorrow. Maybe you will have so much fun that you’ll want to do it again next Sunday!

Still travelling, but over the moon with the prospect of reconnecting in a few days,

Your absence was virtually the only blemish on an exquisite morning, JT. (That and making Alan slightly late for his breakfast date.)
I'm still filled with gratitude: fun, swooping trails through incredible, sun-dappled forest; a great mix of riders and company; no flats or crashes; a hearty second breakfast at Picnic. Rides like this are what it's all about.
