Peter Lawless received an e-mail from Andrew this morning ....

Andrew's bags didn’t arrive etc. That’s why the TT wasn’t what he wanted (Andrew was 27th out of a field of 45). The TT was held on Thursday.
But he just finished the rr and sent this:

Peter: took your advice and just had fun.... and it was fast fun! I came 15th in the 60-64 group from a field of 198, average was 43.67. I had a blast!!

Peter was rushing off to Lima but asked that we post Andrew's quick note.

Congratulations Andrew!!!

Andrew was sick and there was some question about him even starting today. He averaged just under 43.7 km/h in the road race in spite of that.

Just awesome to see all your hard work pay off Andrew. Looking forward to hearing all about it, and to seeing you put that world class form to use at a cross race this year!!
