Fozzy wrote: Wed Aug 22, 2018 1:08 pm Hi all

Just wanted to gauge interest in numbers for a fall order.
Please add your name to the list if you will be ordering kit and number of items that you would be ordering.

Cheers

Thanks for getting this rolling, Neil. Can you let us know when the deadline is looming? I hear deadlines are good motivators for fence-sitters.

Just saw this thread, and i know there are several new youth members asking about kit. I can estimate about 5-10 people looking for 2-4 items each. Is this enough info for now? I assume there will be a store and deadline at some point?

Sure would be nice to get this order placed so I’m not freezing cold while riding.

Is there an anticipated order date? And what’s the typical turnaround time? I’m holding off buying a jacket for as long as I can.

Thanks to everyone putting this together and if there’s any way I can help I’ll gladly volunteer.

Because Jakroo doesn't show a budget rain jacket on their site, i asked Ron Hayman, one of their reps. He said they do have this one, the Haze 90, waterproof breathable, about $80, rolls up to fit in a pocket. Apparently though it cant be added to the online store, and we have to order it separately from the online store. He didnt say, but i imagine it's not printable; Champion had something similar that would only take a chest logo. The upside of clear is you can wear it over race numbers (and club kit), and they show through. And don't clash when you're going incognito in your protour fan kit.

I'm willing to handle that to make sure we have a rain jacket option, if the main kit order person doesn't want to, as it's an extra step.

There's also a $30 Louis Garneau plastic one that also works well (at least for 2 hrs in the rain, which is as far as i've worn it.), if you're one of the silly ones who's not sure if you'll like rididng in the rain. . The jakroo one is definitely slicker, breaths, and quieter in the wind if you're fast. And only about 10 more tripleshot americanos to buy.

(Did you know training in the rain counts twice? Once for the time you go out when you normally wouldn't, and once for your rivals who skip riding because of the rain. BONUS!)

Looks like this:

“This Haze 90 goes down to xs and sells for about $80. Membrane breathable water proof.”

“ I have a size large that I just tried on and it fit me fine. It's definitely designed for Road quite short in the front with lots of coverage in the back would not call it a skin tight fit.”

“The membrane has some stretch.”
