An observation from todays B something ride:
Whilst I appreciate that the mid ride 4th lap of the box on the Tuesday Tripleshot ride in Mid August is likely the most prestigious sprint of the season, and sometimes the adrenaline of the occasion can override rational thought, its unlikely that its ever appropriate to overtake or crowd cars on Cedar Hill Cross (or anywhere else).
Its not safe, its not cool and gives us cyclists and the club a bad name. Its also indefensible and creates problems for the club executive when said motorists complain to the authorities.
Dont be dumb. Dont do it. Call off the sprint when a car is in the lane and save your matches for Beacon Hill or next weeks laps.
