Apparently a group gave a commuter cyclist a fright (commuter was coming down Henderson as group turned right from Lansdowne onto Henderson). This shouldn't happen. Remember, the whole reason we single up on Lansdowne and take the right turn onto Henderson wide is to keep us entirely on the right side of the road. There's no painted line but there's a seam that clearly delineates the center of Henderson. Please stay to the right of it on that turn. If you're having trouble keeping to the right of it, talk to your ride-mates about cornering and how to tighten up your technique. You can always ask a strong cornerer (that's a word, right?) to ride in front of you so you can follow their line. Let's not get sloppy on that turn. Mention it to your friends, if you see them sliding too wide past the apex.
2 other Tuesday reminders: 1) we single up on the opposite corner (Cedar Hill X onto Caddy Bay); and 2) don't ever go 4 wide on Henderson (for the sake of faster groups approaching from behind). Wait until the group is fully past the yield sign where Foul Bay becomes Henderson before pulling back if you're in a group riding 2-up.
Thanks.
