To this morning's A2 group...
If you happened to be in the line of fire (and I'm pretty sure most of you were), I apologize for spitting venom this morning. I was frustrated (obviously) because there’s been a trend recently of A riders joining the A2 ride and turning it into just another “attack and chase” game. That’s not what A2 is all about — at least in my experience of riding primarily A2 for the past two years. While I tried to be measured and reasonably objective in my earlier forum post, it seems enough people take exception (to either the message or the messenger) that I decided to drop the matter. Hence the deletions. I'll leave it to the collective conscience of the group to figure out the A/A2 distinction...if there still is one.
Re: To this morning's A2 group...
Hopefully there is still a distinction between the two A rides. This morning was a bit of a anomaly due to the fact there was no A-1 ride, but the A-2 group had a few A-1 level riders for sure. This contributed to the pace and type of ride we had this morning. I can't fault the riders in the group or your reactions. Like Vegas, thing said on the road stay on the road!!!
