Oh my. I enjoyed that! Haven't watched much pro CX, but that's about to change. Some thoughts:

• After two more days of training and events, how will these soft surfaces stay even remotely rideable for the Elite Men on Sunday afternoon? There's already so, so much peanut butter...
• New (to me) slang: "you almost went OTB", after buddy briefly locked up his front wheel.
• Nice that the pros look (ridiculous—with an unclipped, outrigger leg) and sound (like a bunch of perturbed seagulls) the same as we do on corners.
• Strange to hear CX pros bitching about rocks and 3" curbs.
• Also strange to hear them openly sharing online ahead of a competitive race their tactics, placement expectations, and tire pressure ("I think I'll go down at least two [pounds]").
• What's a "Superbowl"?
• I have serious video stabilization software-envy.
• Sven Nys offers his own pre-ride here in which he refers to one steep section as a "Piece of Switzerland in the Netherlands" that also features exposed roots. Awesome!
• The weekend's races will be a total hoot, and all the more enjoyable from having seen this preview. Thanks, Greg!
