Sunday Jan. 28 - Early?

Mostly nonsense. Also riding bicycles inappropriate for off road terrain, off road; GIFs

Sunday Jan. 28 - Early?

Post by Rolf »

I’m out of town until Saturday night, so I’m keen to get a 2-3 hour ride done by 9 on Sunday and salvage what weekend family time I can.

Anyone else up for a 6:30 a.m. start at Fairfield Bucks? If we aimed for Royal Roads, it would just be getting light when we hit the forest.

I’m in Rolf. Your video (minus the somersault) brings back fond memories of that neck of the woods.

This signals my willingness to go along with the early plan, fellow musketeers:

Ladies,

Sure piss storm tomorrow, don’t wimp out. Your alternative? Helping Johnny Tyre take his stitches out from Friday’s psychocross adventure (seriously).

[Sorry girls, had to remove my original emergency room giphy, too gross, even for my eyes. Replacing with this giphy, for the sake of club harmony, and for Greg, who seems fond of this genre. :) ]

Thanks, John. The surgical imagery insulted my delicate sensibilities.

Wet tomorrow, yes. But warm! It’ll be great under the trees.

Rolf, hope you survived the face scratch and the other abuse from us.
Just imagine these are your friends, trying to revive you:

Only one person on that ride deserves sympathy: the lad who went over ‘is bars! Still can’t believe Fozzy was unscratched.

Thanks for accommodating the early start; it was good times for me.

Just a minor get off. Nothing to worry about. I roll well for a big bloke.

Thanks Tyre. Some of us still have young eyes peering over our shoulders as we read up on the latest and greatest.

Overheard recently:
8yo: “Dad, what does ‘shitstorm’ mean?”
Me: “It’s what’ll happen if you ever say that again!”

Couldn't help myself, lads. Had to make a quick & dirty edit before flushing the camera. Shame the light was as muddy as the trails.
