Cycling BC needs to get a sene of interest as well as timing to run a proper course so...

This would be a good course for experienced riders (across the range of speeds from C-A) who are interested in helping fellow riders improve their skills. The club has some great coaches, but could benefit from more. We often want Lister to show up and coach us at exactly the time he's hitting peak training season with the youth program we also ask him to run. Getting some people to take this course would boost the coaching capacity of the club and allow us to help each other become better, safer riders, whether through formal scheduled skills clinics or informal guidance of newbies (or rusties) on regular rides.
It's great of Peter to get this ball rolling, as it has real benefits for the club. Consider signing up.
Ciao!

I think this is great. Thanks to Peter for organizing. I love the idea of training for coaching, and enriching the knowledge base of club members. I’m in.

First, note that registration doesn't open until Feb 7. Don't try (like I did) to register and get frustrated when you can't.
EDIT: REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN.
Second, the Exec met this morning and decided that--in order to increase the coaching capacity of the club--we will reimburse members in good standing who fully participate in this clinic provided:
1) They've established a bit of a history with Tripleshot. Doesn't have to be long...just keeping people from joining the club only to claim the reimbursement.
2) They prepay for themselves and complete the entire weekend course (we cannot reimburse for cancellations or dropouts).
3) They follow up by doing some coaching in support of the club. For example, people who take the course in order to prepare for coaching the Women's Clinic will be reimbursed once they coach the Women's Clinic. Others may help coaching the April skills clinics. For this reason, reimbursement may be delayed until May. If you can't coach the Women's Clinic and are gone in April, but see other ways that this could help you help the club, talk to me.
4) They notify me *ahead of time* (before registering) and get a thumbs up from me. I'm doing this primarily to control numbers, as money doesn't grow on trees. In the event of scarcity being an issue, priority will be given to Women's Clinic coaches.
You can email me at tripleshotcyclingclub (at) gmail (dot) com if you're interested.

There's still room!
