A colleague on campus just got one... very cool. Not so sure about it's use in the peloton, but could be life-saving in traffic.

He says it makes a big difference with pedestrians in the city - less stepping out.
I imagine it will reduce the number of cars that turn right in front of cyclists.

Does it light up the road in front of you good as well or do you need the blaze 650 to go with it?

Most right hooks are during overtaking maneuvers, I don't see how a light can fix the problem of impatience...
