Conducting a poll to get the "correct" result!

I understand the Club is going to conduct a survey to assist in the selection of a new kit design. Maybe, the committee members, tasked with designing the survey, would be helped by the advice given by Sir Humphrey Appleby in this Yes Minister clip!
