New stop sign on Observatory Hill

Please be warned there is a new stop sign on Observatory Hill as you descend, just before the parking lot (near the spot where those pesky speed bumps used to be).
Today there was also a flagger there ensuring everyone stopped. She said they will be ticketing anyone who doesn't stop (although I'm not sure how she would catch them?) and that if there continues to be a problem cyclists will be banned from Observatory Hill altogether.
In any case, please be aware and on your best behaviour. While it sucks, being banned would suck even more.
