Out to Metchosin, Gillespie. Typical Saturday C, C+. I just want to thank David for joining us and riding with us last Saturday. You figured out the rhythm of the ride and just rode! Thanks! So if you are a quicker stronger rider, your typical A B type, and are looking for company and a good recovery ride, this is it. We may go slow but we try to ride steady with very little stopping; just keep moving!

As usual, leaving from Disco on Menzies at 7 AM sharp.

I do want to ride tomorrow Barton, but here's the latest from Environment Canada....
Rainfall warning in effect for:
Greater Victoria
Rain, at times heavy, is expected. More heavy rain is on the way.
Another fall storm is expected to impact parts of the South Coast on Saturday. Rain will start over Vancouver Island overnight, reach the mainland coast by morning and intensify Saturday afternoon and evening. 50 to 70 mm of rain is expected (!!!!!!!) depending on location.
Conditions are forecast to improve around midnight on Saturday across the South Coast with only a few showers lingering.

Mary: you appear to suggest rain may affect your ride participation.
It's the time of year to switch gears on that unhelpful little bit of cause-and-effect.
Here's an informative and entertaining thread from the Tripleshot archives to help you through the transition. Happy riding!

If the wind is howling I won't be riding or if the wind picks up and gets nasty during the ride I'll bail.
Otherwise, I'll be riding. Not really a matter of HTFU, just a matter of riding!
Leaving at 7. Maybe see you then or on the way to the Blue Bridge.
Barton.

That was a great ride Barton. Mostly sunshine and tailwind despite the forecast. Thank you for organizing.

That was great! A bit challenging in a few locations but dry and not too windy for most of it. Sure glad I went! Glad you were able to ride along Mikael. Thanks Paul L for helping us along. Good times!
Next Saturday, 90 K on the Peninsula.
Barton.
