Sorry for the late reply. I do not recommend the Ring Road tomorrow! That metal plate is gone. They filled in the hole and did a terrible job with the fill/gravel. It will be impossible to cross at speed. Big gravel and uneven. Even though it's only about 10 feet across, you'll have to slow down a lot to get past. And, it's a single lane.
I'd do 'the box' in TTT mode, if others show up. I can't tomorrow, but I'll be back on the bike very soon,
