Not really cycling related, but we are looking for a house somewhere in the Oak Bay/ Fairfield area to rent for a couple of months in December and January while our house is being renovated.

Yikes - do you know what the rental market is like in this city? More "rental wanted" ads than "rental available" ads online these days. You'd better put on your Sunday finery and work up a sales pitch to convince potential landlords of your worthiness.

Or maybe you could just work a ton of overtime and the kids could become f/t candystripers.

But you know I'd help you if I could. I'll keep my ears open for any leads.
