Hi Barton,
How long do you expect this ride to take? And what time do you expect you'd be passing by Ferndale area?

About 5 hours and should be along Ferndale at 7:40, 7:45. If pressed for time you can always skip the hills at the end.

Well that did not work out the way it was supposed to! Got outta bed after 5 hours or less of sleep. Headed off to the coffee shop. Met up with Tim (Sailor). Just the two of us but only for a short time then Kengi and Todd joined us at Beacon Hill followed shortly by Mikael then Roxann at the bottom of KG.
Before we left Uplands I knew that physically and mentally today's ride as planned was not going to happen! Same with Mikael. We cut it short, way short! Heading home after crossing the highway near Elk Lake. Must Rest!! Tim and Roxann carried on.
Next Sunday is a Rando 200. We will be feeling much better by then! A week of rest, easy rides and good sleep (hopefully!) and we'll be good to go. A couple of us want to see if we do this under 8 hours, lapsed time, including stops. Maybe!
Is it nap time yet?
